Through a different lense

Childhood Strabismus data visualization

Through a Different Lense is a data visualization poster that explores the long-term effects of strabismus—commonly known as crossed eyes—on children as they grow into adulthood. This project combines research-driven data with expressive design to illuminate the often overlooked emotional, social, and developmental challenges faced by individuals living with this condition.

This poster aims not only to inform but also to foster empathy, challenging viewers to reconsider how we perceive "normal" vision and the assumptions tied to it. It is both a lens into another way of seeing the world and a call to better understand those who experience it differently.
