Lola Has Special Eyes… is a children’s book I wrote and illustrated, inspired by empathy and imagination. The story follows Lola, a young girl with Strabismus, as she navigates the challenges of being different. When she's teased at school, she escapes into a magical world where she meets other unique characters who show her that what makes us different is what makes us special.
